Oakmont Democrats meet March 2

New date to avoid conflict with OVA Board candidates night

Stephen Gale will be the speaker at the Tuesday, March 2, meeting of the Oakmont Democratic Club, to be held at the East Recreation Center at 7 p.m. Mr. Gale will be addressing “Issues Facing California in 2010: The Candidates and the Propositions.”

This is a don’t-miss meeting to become informed on the issues and candidates facing the city, county, state and nation in the year 2010.

Stephen Gale serves as the Chair of the Sonoma County Democratic Party, a member of the Executive Committee of the California Democratic Party and a member of the Voter Services Committee of the CDP. He is active in candidate recruitment to advance Democratic candidates in historically “red” districts. A long-term resident of Santa Rosa, Stephen returned to party politics when his son graduated from Maria Carrillo High School in 2006. Rounding out his civic participation, he also serves as the Vice-Chair of the Board of Public Utilities for Santa Rosa, appointed by Gary Wysocky. Stephen is a small business owner as well as the Managing Partner of Stephen Gale & Associates, a consulting firm working primarily with the banking industry. The company also provides research, strategy and business development services for “Main Street” businesses under the name Wellspring Business Development.

All members of the Oakmont Democratic Club, Independents, Oakmont residents and guests are invited to this meeting.
