Kenwood School 6th grade Spaghetti Feed
Wednesday August 15th - 3:00pmOn Sunday, Sept. 9, Kenwood School will hold its annual 6th grade Spaghetti Feed at The Maple Ring in Kenwood. This event raises money directly for the schoolís Outdoor Education Program, which will send the entire 6th grade class to the Marin Headlands in October to experience the award-winning Nature Bridge Outdoor Education Program. Outdoor Education is a highlight of the sixth grade year and something every Kenwood student eagerly anticipates.
The Spaghetti Feed is, in large part, the way the students get there, and they look forward to working as servers for the event to ďearnĒ their way to this weeklong adventure in the Marin Headlands. Itís always a fantastic family friendly event with a dessert auction, a raffle throughout the afternoon, activities for the kids and plenty of great company. And the food is really good, too! But, without a doubt, the one thing that makes this event such a success every year is the attendance and participation of the community at large.
Itís great fun in a beautiful location, with delicious food, outstanding local wines and beer, and it helps to send a sixth grader to Marin. Hope to see you all there! Tickets are available beginning Aug. 22 at the Kenwood School Office, the Kenwood Press, or from any Kenwood sixth grade student. Ticket are: Adults - $15 ($20 at the door); Children under 12 - $7 ($10 at the door). The event is from 3-6 p.m., with dinner being served between 3:30-5 p.m.
