6th grade Spaghetti Feed
Sunday September 9th - 3:00pmKenwood School will hold its annual sixth grade Spaghetti Feed at The Maple Ring in Kenwood on Sunday, Sept. 9. The event raises money for the school’s Outdoor Education Program, which this year will send the entire sixth grade class to the Marin Headlands in October to experience the Nature Bridge Outdoor Education Program. Outdoor Education week is a highlight of the sixth grade year and something every Kenwood student eagerly anticipates.
At the Spaghetti Feed the sixth graders work as servers to “earn” their way to this weeklong adventure in the Marin Headlands. In addition to the meal, there will be a dessert auction, a raffle throughout the afternoon, activities for the kids, and plenty of great company. Without a doubt, the one thing that makes this event such a success every year is the attendance and participation of the community at large. It’s great fun in a beautiful location, with delicious food, outstanding local wines and beer, and it helps to send a sixth grader to Marin!
Tickets are available at the Kenwood School Office, the Kenwood Press, or from any Kenwood sixth grade student. Adults – $15 ($20 at the door); Children under 12 – $7 ($10 at the door). The event is from 3-6 p.m., with dinner being served between 3:30-5 p.m.
