Robert Ferguson Observatory (RFO) in Sugarloaf Ridge State Park is offering night sky viewing on Saturday, Nov. 10. The night sky star party begins at 7 p.m. The observatory’s three main telescopes, plus many additional telescopes, will be open for viewing. Ongoing presentations on astronomical topics will be given in the classroom, and friendly and knowledgeable docents will be available to answer your questions. Please arrive before 10 p.m. to assure gates stay open for you.
Sugarloaf Ridge State Park is at the end of Adobe Canyon Road in Kenwood. State Park admission is $8 per car. Admission to RFO is $3 for adults (18 and older) for the night sky viewing. Under 18 free.
