Observatory Public Viewing Robert Ferguson Observatory

Saturday October 5th - 9:00pm

There will be solar and night sky viewing on Saturday, Oct. 5, at the Robert Ferguson Observatory. Solar telescopes will be set up from noon to 4 p.m. so that you can safely look at and listen to our favorite star, the Sun. Night sky viewing begins at 9 p.m. Please arrive before 11 p.m. The observatory’s three main telescopes plus many additional telescopes will be set up for viewing. Ongoing presentations on astronomical topics will be given in the classroom, and friendly and knowledgeable docents will be available to answer your questions.
