Spaghetti Feed for Kenwood outdoor ed
Sunday September 14th - 3:00pmOn Sunday, Sept.14, from 3 to 6 p.m., Kenwood School will be holding its annual 6th Grade Spaghetti Feed at The Maple Ring in Kenwood. This event raises money directly for Kenwood Schoolís Outdoor Education Program, which sends the entire sixth-grade class to the Marin Headlands for a week in October to experience the award-winning Nature Bridge Outdoor Education Program. Itís the highlight of the sixth-grade year and something every Kenwood student eagerly anticipates.
The Spaghetti Feed is, in large part, the way the students get there, and they look forward to working as servers for the event to ďearnĒ their way to this weeklong adventure in the Marin Headlands. Itís always a fantastic, family friendly event with a dessert auction, a raffle throughout the day, activities for the kids, and plenty of great company. And the food is really good too! But, without a doubt, the one thing that makes this event such a success every year is the attendance and participation of the community at large.
Itís great fun, in a beautiful location, with delicious food, outstanding local wines and beer, and helps to send a sixth grader to Marin! Tickets are available at the Kenwood Press office, the Kenwood School office (833-2500), or from any Kenwood sixth-grade student. Ticket prices are $15 ($20 at the door) for adults, $7 ($10 at the door) for children under 12.
