Depot Book Club meeting
Monday July 6th - 7:00pm
On July 6, we will discuss The Children Act by Ian McEwan. He is an elegant writer, winner of the Booker Prize, who writes about a High Court Judge who makes a difficult professional decision that reverberates through her life. Itís billed as engrossing, thought provoking and beautifully written.
If you want to join us, meet at the Depot on July 6 at 7 p.m., preferably having read the book. We invite you to participate. We have a social time for the first 20 minutes or so, and then get right to our discussion of the book. If you would like to join the Depot Book Club, but cannot come on July 6, our next meeting date is Aug. 3. Check the Kenwood Press Community Calendar for the book to be discussed.
The Depot Book Club meets the first Monday of the month from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Kenwood Depot, 314 Warm Springs Road, Kenwood. We choose books by nominating and then voting for those we want to read. This makes our discussions lively and engaging. Our members include both men and women.
