Understanding Parkinsonís Disease

At the April 27 SIR Branch #53 luncheon, Michael Bagwell will speak on ďIncreased Understanding and Awareness of Parkinsonís Disease.Ē
Parkinsonís leaves its mark on 200,000 families each year in the United States alone. Bagwell will discuss who Parkinsonís affects, the history and classification of the disease, causes, diagnosis and early warning signs. Heíll also cover stages of the disease, progression of symptoms, management and treatment, and advocacy issues.
Bagwell co-manages a business named Homewatch Caregivers, with his wife and business partner Hillary Wooton. The couple founded the business in Santa Rosa in 2013.
Bagwell, a native of Seattle, is a certified senior advisor and has experience with independent and assisted living, memory units, skilled nursing facilities and hospice care.
