Practice walking mindfully at Jack London

On March 17, join Jeff Falconer for a walking meditation in the park. Walking meditation has been practiced for centuries in many parts of the world. It has been used as a healing tool by people from many spiritual and religious traditions, as well as folks who just want to “feel good.” First explore this lovely activity on a relaxed 1.5-mile moderate walk to Jack London’s Lake and then, if you desire, you can extend your mindful experience another 3 miles.
Falconer has practiced meditation for many years. His newly published booklet on walking meditation will be available to purchase to guide your personal journey after the class. Meet in the Ranch parking lot, on the right as you enter the park. Cost is $10 per person (an additional parking fee of $10 per car is collected at kiosk upon entering the park).
