Kenwood School’s Yosemite Pasta Feast
Sunday September 13th - 2:00pmOn Sunday, Sept. 13, 2-6 p.m., Kenwood Elementary School will be holding its annual Sixth Grade Yosemite Pasta Feast at The Maple Ring in Kenwood. This event raises money that goes directly to the Kenwood School Outdoor Education Program. The Program sends the entire 6th grade class to Yosemite in the spring to experience the award winning Yosemite Outdoor Education Program. It is the highlight of the sixth grade year and something every Kenwood student eagerly anticipates.
The Spaghetti Feed is, in large part, the way the students get there, and they look forward to working as servers for the event and participating in “earning” their way to Yosemite. This is a really fun, family friendly event. There is a Dessert Auction, a raffle throughout the day, activities for the children, and plenty of great company. Oh, and the food is really good, too! But, without a doubt, the one thing that makes this event such a success every year is the attendance and participation of the community at large. Everyone comes and everyone feels like family. If you have been in the past, then you know what we’re talking about. If you haven’t, then we sincerely hope that you buy a ticket and join us for the afternoon.
The sale of the tickets helps to send a student to Yosemite, the food is great, the location is beautiful, the afternoon is a lot of fun, and it just makes you feel good! Hope to see you all there!
Tickets are available at the Kenwood School office, the Kenwood Press, or from any Kenwood sixth grade student. Ticket Prices are: Adults $15 or $20 at the door, Children (4-12) $7 or $10 at the door, Children 3 and under are free!
