Quarryhill hosts fall plant sale

Quarryhill Botanical Garden

Saturday September 2017 - 9:00am to

If you’re in the market for some beautiful and rare plants, come to Quarryhill Botanical Garden’s Fall Plant Sale on Sept. 30, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Over 150 species of trees, shrubs, and herbaceous perennials will be available, many of which are uncommon in the nursery trade. These species are native to temperate Asia and are descended from plants grown from wild-collected seeds. The inventory includes several species of magnolias, maples, roses, dogwoods, and camellias, as well as attractive and rare plants such as Emmenopterys henryi and Ceratostigma minus.

One week prior to the sale, the plant inventory will be available online at www.quarryhillbg.org/page136.html. If possible, please bring a box or other container to carry the plants you purchase.

Proceeds from the Fall Plant Sale help support the mission of Quarryhill Botanical Garden – conserving plants and slowing species loss.

Quarryhill is located at 12841 Sonoma Hwy. in Glen Ellen. Parking is available in the soccer field; follow the signs from the entrance. For more information, visit www.quarryhillbg.org/page136.html or call 996-6027.

Quarryhill members receive a 10 percent discount. For membership details, go to www.quarryhillbg.org/membershipinformation.html.
