County energy and sustainability programs at SIR 92

Oakmont Berger Center

Tuesday February 2018 - 11:00am to

The speaker for the SIR Branch 92 Feb. 13 meeting is Dori Estrella who will give a presentation on Sonoma County’s efforts with regard to energy and sustainability, and the services and programs the County has available to its residents and businesses. This department of our local government is part of the General Services Administration and is responsible for planning, evaluating and administering the county-wide Energy Management and Sustainability Program. Estrella led the implementation and administration of the Windsor Efficiency Pay as You Save program for water conservation.

SIR Branch 92 is a local club for retired gentlemen that meets the second Tuesday of each month at Berger Center. Meetings include a social hour beginning at 11 a.m., with bar service, and a sit down lunch at noon with a choice of three entrées, salad and dessert. The club also hosts several social activities throughout the year such as winery tours and tastings, day trips to Bay Area landmarks, plays, concerts, and more.
