Nominations sought for annual Big Heart Award

The Kenwood Education Foundation (KEF) invites the community to nominate outstanding local citizens for the KEF Big Heart award, which will be presented at a cocktail party in February.

The Big Heart award is a way to honor and celebrate the generosity of those who have made exceptional contributions of time, resources, and energy to the children of Kenwood as well as our broader community. The award recognizes the volunteer spirit that helps make Kenwood such a wonderful place to live.

You may nominate a local individual, business or group that has made a difference in the Kenwood/Oakmont community.

Visit www.kenwoodeducationfoundation.org for a complete list of past winners.

To nominate an individual, business or local group, please email a short paragraph with the nominee’s name or title and a paragraph detailing their contributions to our community to cghisla@kenwoodeducationfoundaton.org.

You may also mail a nomination letter to the Kenwood Education Foundation, P.O. Box 85, Kenwood, CA 95452. Nominations should be received by Dec. 20. You may make your nomination anonymously if you choose.

In January, KEF will announce the Big Heart winners and invite the Kenwood community to come to the Big Heart celebration in February. Stay tuned for more details on that event.
