Jack London Park benefits from Rotary gift

rotary check
On Nov. 30, the Rotary Club of Glen Ellen-Kenwood presented a $5,000 check to the Valley of the Moon Natural History Association for fire management in the eucalyptus grove at Jack London State Historic Park. Pictured (L to R) are John Meserve, Rotary Club of Glen Ellen-Kenwood fire relief committee member; Eric Metz, Director of Operations for Jack London State Historic Park; Jo-Anna Partridge, fire relief committee member; Mike Benziger, member of the board of directors of Jack London Park Partners; and Kathleen Bunte, president of the Rotary Club of Glen Ellen-Kenwood. Thanks to many generous donors, the Rotary Club of Glen-Ellen Kenwood has allocated close to $40,000 for fire relief efforts since the October 2017 fires.
