Easter dog parade

Join in the Easter celebration at Landmark Vineyards on Saturday, April 3, 2-4 p.m., for the Second Annual Easter Dog Parade.

The parade starts at 3:30 p.m., and prizes will be awarded for the best dressed dog!

Landmark Winery dog Finnegan will be greeting guests with his bunny ears on. For $10, guests will enjoy a glass of wine and dogs will receive a delicious treat. All well-behaved dogs are warmly welcomed at this event. For more information, call Jane at 833-0224.

Also that day (April 3), guitarist Jason Bodlovich will be performing live. Later in the month, folk musician Adam Traum will perform on April 10; Carlos Herrara and Dan Abela on April 17; and gypsy jazz band Run Manouche on May 1.

St. Patrick's Day was a hit in Oakmont

A number of Oakmont businesses sponsored a St. Patrick's Day event that was well received by many of the residents. The sponsors, Sonoma Bank, CPS Property Solutions, Anderson, Zeigler, Disharoon, Gallagher and Gray Attorneys, New York Life, and WeCare Home Assistants, are all located at the same location near the Oakmont Village Association offices. Each business provided a different course of delicious food.

The door prizes were presented to the winners, as follows:

Debby Roumbanis, Sonoma Bank, a Bailey's Irish Cream/Coffee Gift Basket won by Susan Millar;

Jean Swegle, New York Life, Comedy Show and Dinner for Two at Sally Tomato in Rohnert Park won by Sally and Donald Risberg;

Barrett Huls and Helen Pachynski, New York Life, Pot o' Chocolate Gold Coins won by Rose Williams;

Duane Margreiter, CPS Property Solutions, 25 Lotto Scratchers won by Cindy McDonogh;

Tax relief dinner at St. Francis

Let go of the stress of tax season by going to St. Francis Winery on Saturday, April 24, for a relaxing evening with friends, wine and food. Tickets now on sale for Passport Sonoma Valley

Get your tickets now for the 4th Annual Passport to Sonoma Valley, slated for the weekend of May 15-16, from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at wineries and vineyards up and down Sonoma Valley.

Attendees will be issued a “passport,” providing them unprecedented access to the wines and wineries of the area.

Advanced tickets are $90 for the weekend, $70 for Sunday only, and $25 for a designated driver. On the day of the event, tickets are $100/weekend, $80/Sunday only, and $25/designated driver.

The day of the event, ticket holders, or those wanting to buy tickets, must check in at one of four designated “start” locations - Viansa Winery & Marketplace, Sebastiani Vineyards & Winery, Valley of the Moon Winery, or St. Francis Winery - to receive their passport and complimentary wine glass.
