Oakmont Kiwanis Club Pancake Breakfast
Once again, the Kiwanis Club Pancake Breakfast will be served on Saturday, June 12, from 8 a.m. to 12 noon at Oakmont Gardens, 301 White Oak Drive. This year, the 52-member Kiwanis Club will be assisted by members of the Montgomery High School Key Club. It’s the 21st year for this enjoyable event which is attended by 750+ from in and around Oakmont. It is the Club’s primary fundraiser, with 100% of the proceeds going into the Club’s Community Service Fund. All of the club’s administrative funds are paid by the membership. From the fundraisers the club has – the Jazz Concert in April and the Pancake Breakfast in June – approximately $13,000 annually goes for activities related to children. Tickets will be available from any member of the Club and will be available at the door on the morning of the Pancake Breakfast. The tickets are $4 for children age 12 and under, and $7 for all others. It is an excellent breakfast with pancakes, eggs, sausage, fruit juices, and coffee, tea or milk, so join your neighbors and make our fundraiser a great success again this year.
