Garden tour benefits Quarryhill
Quarryhill Botanical Garden is hosting their Fall Garden Tour on Thursday, Sept. 12, a rare opportunity to visit three spectacular Sonoma County gardens.
The first stop is the Rathman garden, a beautiful balance of courtyards, lavender borders, ornamental grasses, and a rose garden, all overlooking an infinity pool.
The second stop is the Hughes Garden, holding surprises at every turn, like a heritage oak and numerous Japanese maples, an enclosed evergreen “secret garden,” and a hydrangea garden.
Last is the Murray Vineyard. This garden both complements and contrasts its densely forested surroundings.
A limited number of tickets are still available. The price is $125 for members and $145 for non-members. There are three time slots to choose from – 9:30 a.m., 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Call 996-3166 to reserve your spot today.
Quarryhill is located at 12841 Sonoma Highway, Glen Ellen, CA 95442. For more info on this event or others at Quarryhill Botanical Garden, go to quarryhillbg.org.
