Kenwood School Food Drive

Dear Editor,

My name is Barron Jepson and I am the director of community services on the Kenwood School Student Council. We are holding our annual canned food drive for the holidays. I hope you can help me let the community know so if anyone wants to contribute canned food they can bring it to the school. Here is the information about it.

For this fall’s community service activity, the Student Council is sponsoring a Canned Food Drive in support of the Redwood Empire Food Bank. The canned food drive will be running for the entire month of November and up to Dec. 14. Please help us support our community by bringing in non-perishable foods. Please, no food in glass jars.

Last year, you helped us overfill two big barrels; we hope to collect even more this year! With the Oakmont Kiwanis Club’s ongoing support, we know we can meet our goal.

The food bank is most in need of:

canned tuna and meats

canned fruit

peanut butter

canned vegetables

canned beans

breakfast cereal

soups

Thanks for your help!

Sincerely,
Barron Jepson
