Great story on giving back

Dear Editor,

Thank you so much for Sarah Phelps’ “Beautiful” article on our own Karen Borgfeldt’s holiday giving [Dec. 1, 2016]. She is truly blessed because she truly gives, generously, thoughtfully, and lovingly.

One of Karen’s important contributions was improving the sanitary conditions of the foot washing stations. Volunteers had packets with disposable gloves etc. for each patron. As a longtime fan of Hello Beautiful Skin, I know that Karen’s work is always first class. This was such a classy thing to do, Karen!

This is an endeavor we should all support. I’d love to see more volunteer stories in the KP and timely information about opportunities.

Thank you Karen and KP! You made my day.

Sarah Phillips
Santa Rosa
