Rummage sale coming up

If you’ve been doing any spring cleaning lately, chances are you have a pile of things to give away. And if you haven’t done a major clean-out in a while, now is a great time to get started. St. Patrick’s Episcopal Church and the Rotary Club of Glen Ellen-Kenwood are joining forces once again to put on a giant rummage sale at St. Patrick’s on Saturday, May 20.

Organizers are asking everyone in the community to take a look around and see what you have that might be donated to the cause. Storage for items will be available starting the week of April 17, so in the meantime, please hold onto your treasures. And if you’re in the market for some high-quality, used things, mark your calendar for Saturday, May 20.

All proceeds from the rummage sale will be divided between St. Patrick’s and the Rotary Club for their various outreach programs. Two years ago, when the two groups first combined their efforts, they brought in more than double what any previous rummage sale at the church had netted, demonstrating the synergistic power of people working together.

Household goods and appliances, yard and garden items, toys, books, jewelry and clothing all accepted. No mattresses or computers. Small, working electronics OK. For more information, please call Ann at 833-5155.
