GE post office getting a facelift

Glen Ellen resident and volunteer Elisa Stancil puts a new coat of paint on the wall of the Glen Ellen Post Office on April 9. The Glen Ellen Post office and adjacent parking lot and buildings will be undergoing some cosmetic changes in the next couple of months. A new paint job at the post office, both inside and outside, will take place with the assistance of volunteers from the Glen Ellen Town Forumís Community Projects Committee. Property owner Marty Winter also plans on repaving the parking lot shared by the post office and nearby businesses. Post Office and parking lot improvements were identified as desired community projects during the last few months of the Glen Ellen Town Forumís meetings. Photo by Alec Peters
