SVCAC to hear Sonoma housing project
At its Aug. 23 meeting, the Sonoma Valley Citizens Advisory Commission (SVCAC) will review a proposal for a 48-unit affordable housing development at 20269 Broadway in the city of Sonoma.
The development plan for the two-acre site calls for 48 apartment units grouped within eight two-story building clusters, along with a single-story community building. Berkeley-based Satellite Affordable Housing is the developer.
The SVCAC meeting is public and will take place in the meeting room of the Sonoma Police Department, 177 First St. West in Sonoma.
The SVCAC is an advisory panel that makes recommendations to government planning officials on development projects.
