Glen Ellen Community Church Holy Week

Glen Ellen Community Church

Friday March 29th 2013 - to

The Glen Ellen Community Church will mark the conclusion of Holy Week with two special services, one on Good Friday, March 29, at 7 p.m., and one on Easter Sunday at 10 a.m. Good Friday’s service draws to a moving conclusion with a bell tolling 33 times to mark the number of years Jesus walked on earth. Then, from the shadows, Death appears in black and raises a black shroud onto the cross. All participants leave in stillness and silence, only to return on Resurrection Sunday morning to celebrate Easter with joyful songs of praise. Children will participate in an Easter Egg Hunt at the conclusion of Sunday’s service, and brunch will be served to all who attend. The church is located at 5310 O’Donnell Lane in Glen Ellen. For more information, call Pastor Jim at 996-1479.
