Early Spring Farm Forum

St. Francis Winery

Thursday April 4th 2013 - 5:00pm to 7:30pm

Kenwood author Marcy Smothers, along with local hospitality consultant Clark Wolf, and The Sonoma County Food & Farming Project (SCFFP) will host the first of three forums on the future of food and farming in Sonoma County. Speakers on the panel include Zureal Bernier (Bernier Farms), Dave Bush (Executive Chef for St. Francis Winery), Mamta Landerman (Sonoma Swamp Blues), Elissa Rubin-Mahon (food activist), and John Stewart (zazu and black pig meat co.)

The SCFFP hopes to foster public discussion and understanding of the diverse perspectives, organizations and individuals that take part in this farming and food production network and make these small stories part of a larger public record. The gathering will take place on Thursday, April 4, at St. Francis Winery, 500 North Pythian Road, from 5 to 7:30 p.m. There is a suggested donation of $15. RSVP to assistant@clarkwolfcompany.com
