Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast
Saturday June 8th 2013 -
The 24th annual Pancake Breakfast by the Kiwanis Club of Oakmont is next Saturday, June 8, from 8 a.m. to noon at Oakmont Gardens. Fare will include all-you-can-eat pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage, juice, coffee and tea. Hungry residents, family, friends and neighbors are all welcome.
Tickets are $8 for adults and $4 for children 12 and under. Tickets are available from any Oakmont Kiwanis Club member, at First Community Bank in Oakmont, online at www.OakmontKiwanis.com and at Oakmont Gardens the day of the event.
The Kiwanis Club helps out at Kenwood Elementary School, both in projects with teachers at the school, and in helping fund school programs. Proceeds from the pancake breakfast and their other fundraising events further the Kiwanis goal to improve the world one child and one community at a time. In Sonoma County, Oakmont Kiwanis supports projects at two elementary schools, a middle school, and two high schools and funds child-oriented programs at groups such as the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Santa Rosa, Wells Fargo Center for the Arts Music Camp, Valley of the Moon Children’s Center, Worth Our Weight, Bouverie Preserve student tours, and Sonoma County Regional Parks Foundation. If you can’t attend, consider a donation to the Kiwanis Club of Oakmont Foundation.
