GE Historical Society to discuss 2014 plans

On Jan. 18, the Glen Ellen Historical Society will host its annual membership retreat to look at its plans for the upcoming year. Although board members will be the only ones voting on decisions, those interested in Glen Ellen’s heritage and legacy are encouraged to attend and take part in the conversation.

The day-long event begins at 10 a.m. at Mayflower Hall, next to the Glen Ellen Community Church, 5311 O’Donnell Lane. New board members will be chosen and specific projects will be explored at length.

These projects include: the past and future of the Sonoma Developmental Center, the ongoing rehabilitation of Jack London Village, topics for our quarterly presentations, a membership drive and fund drive, and a DVD series and other publishing ventures.
