Robert Ferguson Observatory

Saturday April 26th 2014 - 11:00am to

Have you taken a good look lately at our favorite star, the Sun? You can do so at Robert Ferguson Observatory’s solar viewing on April 26 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Solar telescopes will be set up to listen to and look safely at the Sun. Admission to solar viewing is free.

Then, at 8 p.m. the Public Star Party starts. Friendly and knowledgeable docents are always available to answer your questions and telescopes will be available for viewing. Please arrive before 11 p.m. to assure that we stay open for you. Cost is $3 per adult. Sugarloaf Parking is $8 per car. The observatory is located at Sugarloaf Ridge State Park, 2605 Adobe Canyon Road in Kenwood. For more information go to rfo.org.
