Rotary Shindig in Plaza Park

Kenwood Plaza Park

Saturday July 4th 2015 - to

After the Kenwood 4th of July Parade, walk into Plaza Park for the Rotary Club of Glen Ellen-Kenwood’s 4th of July Shindig.

There will be BBQ for sale, served up by Palooza Gastropub & Wine Bar, and beer and wine available for purchase.

Bring the whole family for an afternoon of fun with booths, games, face painting. Plus, the Free Bookmobile of Sonoma County will join the festivities.

Music will be performed by Urban Oasis, a long-time Sonoma County band consisting of Theresa Stoops (vocals and guitar), Tadd Aiona (lead guitar- acoustic and electric), Roger Illsley (vocals, guitar and harmonica), Shawn Bunyard (vocals, drums, percussions and guitar) and Tim Stein (bass). Urban Oasis plays a wide range of music – from up-tempo dance song covers to interesting and creative originals. The band has a recently released CD, Out of the Dark.

There is still room for nonprofit organizations who would like to set up a booth at the park on July 4. Contact Kathleen Bunte at 271-4988 or bunte@sonomavalleylandscape.com. If you would like to help out with kids games, contact Dave Chappell at 833-1336 or dc@winerystuff.com.
