Jack London wildflower hike


Jack London State Park

Spring is in bloom at Jack London State Historic Park in Glen Ellen and you can enjoy the wildflowers in full glory from the park’s many trails.

There is an intermediate 8-mile hike on April 17 from 10 a.m.-3 p.m., also led by Lynch. Hike on the back country trails to discover a wider variety of wildflowers. Expect to see Canyon Delphinium, Chinese Houses, Golden Fairy Lantern, Lupine, Popcorn Flower, Mules Ears (two varieties) as well as the birds, reptiles and other plants that make up the eco-system of the Park.

All hikes limited to 15 participants. Admission is $10, plus an additional $10 parking fee. Meet in the Ranch parking lot of Jack London State Park, 2400 London Ranch Road, Glen Ellen. Heavy rain cancels, check website at www.jacklondonpark.com.
