Curing back pain at SIR #92

The speaker for the April 12 meeting of SIR Branch #92 in Oakmont will be Dot Spaet, originator of the Spaet Method for controlling and curing that most vexing of health problems: chronic back pain.

With a background in math and engineering, Dot went into full research mode when she developed sciatica about 20 years ago. A multidisciplinary approach yielded certification for Dot in Yoga, Pilates, Strength Conditioning for Seniors, and several other related areas of endeavor. She has taught hundred of others the principles which have led her to be pain free through her organization GetOutof BackPain.com. Last year she received the Novato Physical Therapy Patients’ Choice Award.

SIR Branch#92 is a social club for retired gentlemen that encourages fellowship and enjoyment of one’s retirement years, and meets the second Tuesday of each month at the Berger Center in Oakmont beginning at about 11:15 a.m. for a social hour, luncheon, and interesting speaker.
