Making a Killing: Guns, Greed and the NRA film screening

St. Patrick’s Episcopal Church

Wednesday September 28th 2016 - 11:00am to

On Wednesday, Sept. 28, at 11 a.m., there will be a screening of the film Making a Killing: Guns, Greed, and the NRA. This 90-minute film describes our country's gun culture, the organizations that support it, the companies that profit from it, and the lives that are hurt by it. It also provides suggestions for ways to make our country safer from gun violence. The St. Patrick's Gun Violence Prevention group explains, “The film is not against the Second Amendment nor against guns as such. It is presented as part of our vision to eliminate gun violence.” There will be a second screening of the movie on Thursday, Sept. 29, at 7 p.m.
