On this 2.2-mile walk, Oct. 29, 4-6:30 p.m., Maniscalco will recount the fascinating history of some who have met their maker in the park, including a desperate millionaire with a checkered past and a homesteader who went boom.

The hike will follow the Meadow Hillside trail loop and include 250 feet of vertical climb. The hike will stop at Camp Butler to watch the sunset. Tickets are $10 per adult, $5 for campers and students and 18 and under are free. Bring a flashlight, and meet at the White Barn (near observatory).
