Hike on the wild side at Sugarloaf

Sugarloaf State Park

Saturday December 2016 - 10:00am to

Mountain lions, mule deer and black bears have been seen recently at Sugarloaf Ridge State Park. Come learn about these critters during a hike on Saturday, Dec. 3, 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

The three-mile hike will be mostly level and you will learn about the park’s “charismatic megafauna,” how to be safe while exploring wild lands, and how to preserve habitat for wildlife. This is a great hike for families.

Wear active shoes, bring water and lunch; snacks and beverages will be provided after the walk. Heavy rain cancels. Meet at the Visitor’s Center. Walk is free; day use parking is $8.
