Habitat hike: redwood forest

Sugarloaf State Park

Saturday February 4th 2017 - 10:00am to

Feb. 4, 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

What is a habitat? Join Sugarloaf State Park Docent Jim Moir on a hike through a Redwood forest habitat to explore all it has to offer. Learn about the flora and fauna of this habitat during a two-mile hike along the Pony Gate and Canyon trails. This is a moderate hike with 400 feet of elevation gain. Bring a snack for the stop at the waterfall. Meet at the Visitors Center. Hike is free, though parking fees still apply. Hot chocolate or tea after the hike.

Visit www.sugarloafpark.org for more information and registration for these hikes.
