Volunteer trainings for state parks

Saturday April 1st 2017 - 9:00am to

Join the great team of volunteers who help operate Jack London State and Sugarloaf Ridge State parks.

Volunteers are needed for a variety of positions, from working the entrance stations to docents and volunteers for special events. The commitment is only four hours per month and you will receive a park pass for your service.

Jack London is operated by Jack London Park Partners and Sugarloaf Ridge State Park is operated by Team Sugarloaf. These parks receive no state funding so the parks rely on volunteers to help operate them.

Trainings dates are: Saturday, March 11, 9 a.m.-1 p.m., (volunteers for Sugarloaf Ridge State Park) and Saturdays, April 1 and 8 (two-day training) 9 a.m.-5 p.m. both days, for volunteers for Jack London State Historic Park.

To sign up contact Susan St. Marie at sstmarie@jacklondonpark.com or 938-4827.
