Volunteer meeting for Wine Country Film Festival

Kenwood Depot

Wednesday September 6th 2017 - 1:00pm to

Interested in volunteering for a local film festival? Organizers of the 31st Wine Country Film Festival are hosting a volunteer meeting in Kenwood on Wednesday, Sept. 6, 1-3 p.m. at the Kenwood Depot, 314 Warm Springs Road. The film festival will run Sept. 22-24 at local venues including the Kenwood Depot, the Kenwood Fire Station and at Quarryhill Botanical Garden in Glen Ellen.

Volunteer opportunities include selling tickets and concessions, parking attendants, setting up and running projection equipment, hosting a filmmaker, distributing the film program, and other tasks specific to each film festival venue.

Benefits include learning about the arts, the environment and world cultures through the powerful medium of film and storytelling, interacting with scores of creative people, free movie vouchers, developing new skills, and connecting with your community. Refreshments will be served. If you are interested in being a volunteer but cannot attend the meeting contact Terri Hardesty, WCFF Volunteer Coordinator at teresita1@mindspring.com.
