Step back with Jack

Jack London State Park

Saturday September 9th 2017 - 10:30am to

Travel back to the summer of 1916 through an immersive, experiential living history tour at Jack London State Park. These tours are a unique opportunity for visitors to experience Beauty Ranch as if they were personal guests of Jack London himself. The inaugural tour takes place on Sept. 9, at 10:30 a.m., and Jack will personally lead you on a tour of the grounds.

Then, Jack will invite you into the cottage where he and his wife Charmian live. You might even meet Charmian and Jack’s stepsister, Eliza Shepard. The lively, intriguing and informative tour with Jack lasts approximately 90 minutes, as he weaves a tale of his visions and dreams for a progressive farm.

The tour costs $50 per person, which includes parking. Box picnic lunches are available for additional $15. Tour requires a minimum of four people and can accommodate a maximum of 15.

Ordinarily the living history tour requires a minimum two-week reservation in advance but an inaugural tour will be open to the public on Sept. 9 at 10:30 am.

To make reservations for the inaugural September tour, or to plan an individual tour, visit jacklondonpark.com or call 938-5216.
