Food bank to distribute free food in Kenwood, Glen Ellen

The Redwood Empire Food Bank (REFB) will be distributing food to anyone affected by the fires, including those who lost homes, employment or wages, access to previous food assistance, those who are sheltering others who lost homes, and those who experienced financial hardship following the fires due to loss of power and gas, and/or access to work.

The REFB operates its Station 3990 mobile drive-through at various distribution sites around the county, including two in our area on Saturday, Dec. 23. They will be at St. Patrick’s Episcopal Church, 9000 Sonoma Hwy. in Kenwood, from 8:45 to 9:30 a.m., and at Jack London Village, 14301 Arnold Dr. in Glen Ellen, from 10:15 to 11 a.m. Distributions are free and open to anyone. No proof of income or identification needed.
