Help repair fire-damaged trails at Sugarloaf

Join the Sonoma County Trails Council (SCTC) for the first public volunteer work day in Sugarloaf Ridge State Park since the October fires. On Saturday, Feb. 3, from 9 a.m. to about 1 p.m., help work on repairs to fire damaged trails.

Meet at 9 a.m. at the white barn (horse trailer parking area).

If someone is at the entry booth, tell them you are a volunteer for trail work. SCTC will provide parking passes, tools and Clif bars with Lagunitas and Guayaki beverages and snacks afterwards.

Bring gloves, a hat, and water that you can take with you while working, and wear long pants, boots or hiking shoes, and sunscreen. Steady rain cancels.

No experience necessary. SCTC has tools and trained crew leaders with tasks for all strengths and sizes of volunteers.
