Volunteers needed for trail work in Trione-Annadel State Park

Trione-Annadel State Park

Saturday February 2018 - 9:00am to

Join the Sonoma County Trails Council (SCTC), for its regular third Saturday Annadel volunteer trail maintenance day at Trione-Annadel State Park on Saturday, Feb. 17, from 9 a.m. to about 1 p.m.

Meet at 9 a.m. at the south end of Channel Drive at the main Annadel parking lot (Warren Richardson trailhead). Look for the white SCTC tool trailer. SCTC will provide parking passes, tools and Clif bars with snacks and Lagunitas and Guayaki beverages afterwards.

Bring gloves, a hat, and water that you can take with you while working, and wear long pants, boots or sturdy hiking shoes. Poison oak is present, so long sleeves are suggested. Steady rain cancels.

No experience is necessary. There will be tools and trained crew leaders with tasks for all strengths and sizes of volunteers.

In order to make sure there are enough tools and after-work beverages, RSVP to trailscouncil@sonic.net if you plan to attend.

If you have any questions, contact Ken Wells, executive director of SCTC, at 538-9389. For information, go to www.sonomacountytrailscouncil.org.
