Hear about the Galapagos Expedition at SIR #53

Dr. Matthew James, a professor at Sonoma State University, will speak on “The 1905-06 Galapagos Expedition and its link to Darwin and Evolution” at the March 28 luncheon of Sons in Retirement Branch #53.

SIR Branch #53 meets on the fourth Wednesday of each month at Oakmont’s East Recreation Center, 7902 Oakmont Dr. A social hour starts at 11 a.m. with luncheon at noon catered by A La Heart Catering. Any Oakmont man interested in attending this presentation and/or membership should contact Dave McCuan at 539-3028. Ladies are welcome at 1 p.m. to hear the speaker.
