Jewish conversation, wisdom and wine

St. Francis Winery

Sunday August 5th 2018 - 2:00pm to

On Sunday, Aug. 5, the final session in a five-part series pairing wine tasting and Jewish conversation will take place at St. Francis Winery near Kenwood. The event is organized by Congregation Ner Shalom and the Jewish Concierge of Sonoma County, and will be led by Reb Irwin Keller and Rabbi George Gittleman. It runs from 2 to 4 p.m.

The discussion will ask the question that arises in the story of the Garden of Eden: ayeka – “Where are you?” In the trajectory of your life, of who you want to be, how you want to be – where are you? Often the answer is “I don’t know.” Sometimes the answer is hineini – “I am here.” Participants will look at a couple moments in Torah and pose this question to ourselves and each other.

Cost is $35, including wine and cheese. For tickets, go to www.jewishfed.org/news/events/perfect-pairing-wisdom-wine.
