Oakmont Gardens

Monday August 20th 2018 - 1:00pm to

The Santa Rosa Junior College’s Older Adults Program will be offering a series of free courses in genealogy this fall, one in Oakmont. A Beginning Genealogy class will run Mondays Aug. 20 to Dec. 17 from 1-2:30 p.m. at Oakmont Gardens, 301 White Oak Dr.

If you are interested in learning how to do family research, solve “brick walls or road blocks,” and write for future generations about your family history, this class is for you. Computer experience is recommended but not required.

A Beginning/Intermediate Genealogy class will be offered at Spring Lake Village, 5555 Montgomery Dr. in Santa Rosa. At the Santa Rosa Family History Center, 1725 Peterson Lane, a beginning class and three advanced genealogy classes will be offered on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons.

Visit www.santarosa.edu to see schedule of classes. You may sign up online or go directly to the location where the instructor will assist with registration. Contact the Older Adults Program at 527-4533 for more information or instructor Denise Beeson at 694-6826.
