Bring a Friend to Church Day

Kenwood Community Church

Sunday August 26th 2018 - 10:30am to

That cute little white Carpenter Gothic-style church on Kenwood Plaza Park has been there since 1888. You may have peeked inside on the 4th of July while you were waiting for pancakes. But if you haven’t visited yet, the church is sending you an invitation. The last Sunday of each month – starting on Sunday, Aug. 26, at 10:30 a.m. – is “Bring a Friend to Church Day,” and that includes all friends in Kenwood and the Sonoma Valley.

In addition to the charming, historic architecture with gingerbread details on the ceiling, colorful stained-glass windows, and comfortable Windsor chairs, you’ll find friendly folks and community spirit, good news and great music. Music director Harold Julander usually plays a selection of classical masterpieces interspersed with anything from jazz or ragtime to old favorites. Pastor Charlie Ensley always gives you something to think about during the week to come. So come meet old friends and maybe make some new ones.

No matter who you are or where you are on your spiritual journey, you are always welcome at Kenwood Community Church. Located at 9637 Channing Row and Warm Springs Road across from Kenwood Plaza Park. Call 833-1087 for more information.
