How Can I Resist Ya? The Music and Dance of Abba’s Mamma Mia!
25 talented young artists take to the Sebastiani Theatre stage singing and dancing in ETC!’s latest creation, How Can I Resist Ya? The Music and Dance of Abba’s Mamma Mia! The show is directed by Cat Austin, MA and choreographed by Amee Alioto, MFA with music arranged by Cat Austin and John Simon. The members of the company have spent the last 5 months rehearsing all the dances and harmonies of 16 popular songs including Dancing Queen, The Winner Takes It All, SOS, Super Trouper and of course Mamma Mia.
Shows are Sat and Sun, Feb. 6 & 7 at 2 pm and Monday, Feb. 8 at 7 pm. Also playing twice on Valentine’s Day Feb. 14 at 2 pm & 7 pm and Monday, Feb. 15 at 7 pm. Advanced tickets can be purchased with cash or check at Readers’ Books and Pharmaca or by credit card, cash or check at Sebastiani Theatre. Tickets are $15 adults and $5 discounted tickets for students under 18. And yes, there will be some opportunities to Sing Along during the show!
ETC! has staged shows such as The Circle of Life – Music of the Lion King, Pippin, Godspell and Music of the BEATLES. ETC! will be holding auditions for a teen Glee Club in late February and restaging The Circle of Life with the Sonoma Middle Schools in the spring.
