Bingo at KCC
Kenwood Community Church
Saturday September 11 - 6:30pm to
The Fall BINGO BASH at the Kenwood Community Church has been rescheduled for Sept. 11, the second Saturday of the month. We have at least 10 cash winners each evening, and we need some new players. Some of the same people keep winning. Eight-year-old Cameron Lane has won every time since we started in May. Tell us your secret, Cameron! One night he won three times, and last month he won only once, but his dad Scott won twice.
We do have fun and a delicious supper is served for $5. Come at 6 p.m. on Sept. 11 for supper followed by Bingo. The Bingo is a fundraiser for this Kenwood historic legacy.
Al Nelson, one of our venerable members, says, “If you come to church the next morning at 10:30 a.m. you usually have the same food for free at the social hour that follows our service.” True, if there are any leftovers.
We would welcome you in church on any Sunday. Our Sunday School starts on Sept. 12 and children of all ages are invited to attend. We start in church at 10:30 a.m. and after a brief family service the children adjourn with two teachers to our Fellowship Hall for about 45 minutes. We enjoy a wide variety of guest preachers at our services and are enjoying some wonderful singing accompanied by professional musicians. No matter who you are, or where you are on your spiritual journey, you are welcome here.
If you have any questions you can call the church at 833-1087 and we hope to see you. Our lovely little church, built over 120 years ago, is located at 9637 Channing Way just off Warm Springs Road.
