The Cal Alumni Club of Oakmont is hosting its annual Labor Day Picnic and BBQ at the Trione Polo Field on Monday, Sept. 6. The field is located on White Oak Drive in Oakmont.

The festivities begin around noon with games and prizes, including Ball Toss, Pass the Sand, Bean Bags and Golf. The picnic and BBQ will be prepared and served by Dave and Laura Arcado of the Kenwood Market, including hamburgers, garden burgers, hog dogs, salads and all the fixings, plus ice cream for dessert. The price, including beverages (wine, beer, soda and water) is $23 per person, and $18 for kids 12 and under.

An auction for the benefit of scholarships for students attending UC Berkeley will be held, featuring a football signed by Cal Coach Jeff Tedford and the entire 2010 Cal football team, Giant’s tickets, cooking lessons, and wine.
