Fall hike in Annadel

Trione-Annadel State Park

Saturday November 13th 2010 - 9:45am to

Join Bill and Dave for a late fall hike at Annadel State Park on Saturday, Nov. 13. In order to start promptly at 10 a.m. please meet in the main parking lot at the end of Channel Drive at 9:45. This 12.5-mile hike has a total elevation gain of 1,200 feet and will last approximately six hours. Hikers will walk on Richardson, Steve’s S, Lake, Canyon, Marsh, Ridge, and Two Quarry trails. Wear sturdy hiking shoes and bring lunch with plenty to drink. Bring appropriate clothing for the weather, rain or shine. The parking fee is to be paid at the self-registration pipe by the stop sign.

Carpool if possible, as parking can be a problem on occasion. Anyone wishing to carpool can meet at the St. Francis (Safeway) shopping center in Santa Rosa for a prompt 9:30 a.m. departure. The meeting place is in the corner of the parking lot nearest the Calistoga Road and Highway 12 intersection. This is a “leaderless” carpool meeting place; i.e., it’s up to those who are there to organize the carpool.

For more information call Dave at 539-8847, or Bill at 833-6288, or go to their web page.
