Spaghetti Feed

Maple Ring

Sunday September 18th 2011 - 2:00pm to 6:00pm

Every year a fantastic Spaghetti Feed takes place to send Kenwood School 6th graders to Yosemite in the spring to experience the award-winning Yosemite Institute Outdoor Education Program. So, mark your calendar for Sunday, Sept. 18, and dine from 2 to 6 p.m. under the shade of the magical Maple Ring on the Geib Ranch.

At this year’s event you will enjoy “Chef” Tom Cannard’s Bolognese made with grass-fed beef, pesto pasta from organic basil, organic salad greens provided by Green String Farm, and fresh, locally-made garlic bread.

The trip to Yosemite is the highlight of the year for 6th graders, and they help earn their way by working at the Spaghetti Feed. A fantastic raffle will take place throughout the event, and, of course, the evening is topped off by the legendary dessert auction, where you will get a chance to bid on an amazing array of cakes and other goodies made by amateur and professional bakers, and parents.

Tickets are $15 for adults in advance, $20 at the door. Children 4-7 are $7, or $10 at the door. Kids three and under are free.

You can get your tickets at Kenwood School or from any Kenwood School 6th grader. This is a community event, so come help send a 6th grader to Yosemite.

For more information, call Kenwood School at 833-2500.
