Zen Center 3rd Annual Mandala Bazaar

On Saturday, Sept. 1, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Sonoma Mountain Zen Center, will host its Third Annual Mandala Bazaar on the Mountain in support of its project to construct a new meditation hall.

The event, which in the past has drawn enthusiastic crowds, features a diverse group of regional artisans and craftspeople offering woodwork and sculptures, Japanese style kimonos, mixed media and fiber art, ceramics, handmade jewelry, ethnic artifacts, bamboo flower vases, and more.

Highlighting the Bazaar will be a treasure-filled raffle featuring a framed original calligraphy by SMZC’s renowned Abbot Jakusho Kwong-roshi, as well as gift certificates to local restaurants, inns and businesses, including Osmosis Spa, Hana Japanese Restaurant, and Quarryhill Botanical Garden.

Live music will take place throughout the day. Bento box lunches, assortments of sweets, baked goods and drinks will be offered for sale.
